2021.11.30 23:40 RebornGriffin Loophole to become a Canadian citizen?
Starting from February 28, 2022, everyone taking a plane or a train from or in/to Canada will need to show a proof of vaccination. A negative COVID test won’t be accepted as an alternative. Basically NO ONE who is not vaccinated will not be able to leave/depart Canada.
Does it mean that anyone for valid medical reasons or other people without recognized vaccines by Canada (eg. Sinovac, Sputnik, piVacCorona etc.) automatically become Canadian citizens because they are not allowed to leave Canada? Or is it going to be more like movie “Terminal” with Tom Hanks?

2021.11.30 23:40 xStimorolx [Edmonton,AB] 85k gross, 50k tfsa, 18k bank, 2hr bus commute, need 1 car.
Haven't had a lot of luck in shopping for a used car in the past, worried about burning in the present and having to live with a lemon in the future.
My girlfriend has ever so politely said "you're not going to want the same car for 10 years, you switch PC parts every 6 months" which isn't wrong but I believe with the right car, I'd want to keep it for 3-4 years.
Pre-covid, I used to spend two hours on the bus every day heading to my IT job and March 2020 I moved home to WFH today. CEO has politely said time to come back instead of coming in when needed. I don't know if I can do a 2 hour bus trip again.
I don't really care what car I have, I have tried a number of different cars through rentals and I feel like I would really like two things:

2021.11.30 23:40 hrm_hunter1 Found a way to skip the Nürburgring nordschleife outlap
Hi All, I know there is a known outlap skip for the VLN Nurburgring layout, but radicals is just running the Nürburgring nordschleife not combined with the GP circuit. This means the normal skip doesn't work as you can't access the GP layout, which sucks because I was having to do a full outlap just to get around to complete one hotlap.
Today I found a two skips for the just the Nürburgring nordschleife, which is saves a ton of time and makes it easier to practice. I'm sure some people already knew about this, but I wasn't able to find anything from googling or YouTube.
I've linked a video I made on how to perform both skips. Please let me know if you have any questions.

2021.11.30 23:40 Action4Jackson Need some support. (New Father)
Hey guys, I have been eagerly waiting to join you all in Father hood, but it has not gone as expected as of yet. My wife got sick while 35 weeks pregnant and we had to deliver the baby early to keep her healthy. Her condition was not treated soon enough and it affected my baby boys growth.
After a difficult C-section my wife delivered a beautiful 4 LB 11 Oz baby boy. In the process she lost alot of blood and has a tough recovery ahead of her.
My baby boy was immediately taken to the NICU where they needed to insert a pick line in close to his heart so he could receive the large amount of fluids they needed to get him to stabilize....which unfortunately hasn't happened. The hospital decided to transfer my Boy to a bigger hospital with a higher level NICU.
I'm a pretty tough person but I am having a hard time being strong for my wife and helping her recovery, while also trying to be there for my new baby who was take so quickly to a different city/ hospital over 100 miles away
Any tips/ suggestions/ or support would be great.

2021.11.30 23:40 compddd Interest rate calculation, am I crazy?
I know BlockFi pays 9% up to 40k in USDC and 8% on anything above that. Wouldn't the daily interest accrued on 100k even of USDC be around $23.01? Instead it's giving $22.25 per day. Please correct my math if I am wrong.

roping apple into the mic would be very cyberpunk and future and also would help the military stop using shitty stupid unaesthetic old computers and have cool future macs for like 5k a piece instead. could also play into apples thing of being proprietary w/ their shit and lowkey dystopian n whatev

2021.11.30 23:40 Coconut-Alien PSLF and EDRP combination question
I'd appreciate input from anyone that might have experience with this. I am looking to take a job within the VA healthcare system that qualifies for the EDRP (Link). And by the time I start this job, I will also be 60 payments away from achieving PSLF and will probably get something like $250k forgiven after all is said and done
My big question is this:
If I make minimum payments on my student loans through REPAYE that are under the $40,000 each year for the 5 years of this program, am I actually netting $0 payments under EDRP because I am getting reimbursed for all of that money at the end of the year?
This is important to me because I am basically comparing this job against other jobs that don't have EDRP, and trying to conceptualize an effective addition to my salary equivalent to the amount I would pay in student loans at another job. And because I have 60 payments left that would line up with the 5 years that the EDRP is in effect, I think this might be my most efficient, low cost pathway to forgiveness.
Happy to clarify if this is at all confusing. Thanks for reading and considering my question!
